FAQS

The cost of a solar battery varies, however as a general rule, the higher the capacity, the more expensive the battery. A typical battery cost, including installation, will range between $14,000 and $30,000. Evo Solar will work with you to discuss the best option to suit your needs.

Yes. All newer solar systems allow you to retrofit a battery. However, there are a number of things you need to consider, including:

  • The size of your solar system: if your system only generates enough power to meet a small part of your energy usage, then it may not be worth considering a battery.
  • The type of inverter you have: while most newer hybrid inverters allow you to add a battery directly to your inverter, all standard solar inverters are compatible with AC-coupled batteries like the Tesla Powerwall 2.

If you’re considering incorporating a solar battery into your renewable energy system, Evo Solar will work with you to find the right solution.
